Russian fuel company TVEL said that revenues from the sale of goods, works and services in 2009 was RUB 58.3 billion ($1.87 billion), which is 12,1% higher than the same period in 2008. The main factor behind the increase in revenue was the growth of revenue from the sale of nuclear fuel assemblies for Russia (31,6%) and exports abroad (13%), it said.
The 2009 split of domestic sales to export was 41:59. The company made a net profit of RUB 9 billion, which is 2.471 billion higher than last year.
