The European Construction Institute (ECI) and its US counterpart, the Construction Industry Institute (CII), have completed the first part of a joint study of major construction project performance practices. Data were examined from the records submitted by 11 leading European organisations including BNFL, ABB Lummus, and Raytheon E&C. Detailed analyses of “best practice criteria” will be produced for the participants, and an overview for members of both Institutes as well as being added to the combined ECI/CII databases.
