Siemens Industrial Solutions and Services (I&S) is the first group in Siemens AG that has received certification in compliance with the new quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. The quality management system for the entire I&S portfolio for industry and infrastructure, covering the complete plant life cycle, was audited and certified.
The certification and the audit that preceeded it were carried out by the Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertification von Managementsystemen (DQS).
Siemens I&S is one of 28 German companies that has received the certification by DQS in the Electrical and Optical Equipment category.
