Ukraine president Leonid Kuchma has confirmed the appointment of former Energoatom executive director Nikolai Steinberg as deputy state secretary at the Ukrainian ministry of fuel and energy. The position is considered to be the most senior state management post in the nuclear power sector. Steinberg succeeds Nur Nigmatullin.
