Westinghouse Electric has become Entergy’s exclusive supplier for a range of nuclear parts and services.
A Westinghouse spokesman said that agreement covered the provision of engineering, field services, replacement parts and instrumentation and control (I&C) equipment for a number of years. The value of the agreement will vary according to improvements in the operating performance of Entergy’s nuclear fleet, which comprises five PWR units and four BWR units. The focus is on the PWR units.
