Temelin 1 began trial operation on 10 June, starting a planned 18-month period to its operation as a commercial power producer.
The trial operation began just a day before shareholders approved plans for the utility to acquire stakes in regional power distribution companies and the sale of 66% of the CEPS national grid system to the government.
