Kenda Electronic Systems has installed operational metering summator (OMS) equipment at British Energy’s (BE’s) Hunterston and Torness plants. The OMS units are linked directly to the genset performance monitoring system (GPMS) at each site and will provide BE with real-time metering data for trading purposes.
The installation of the OMS units brings the two plants into line with other stations in England and Wales, where similar Kenda equipment has been operating .
