The NRC is contracting for a supplier to provide technical expertise from engineer(s) who are expert in the area of centrifugal pump net positive suction head operating margin including pump performance in cavitation to assist the NRC staff in determining whether or not the current NRC NPSH criteria for pumps used in nuclear power plant safety systems need to be improved.
