Agreement signed to launch nuclear heating project in China’s Liaoning province
China’s State Power Investment Northeast Electric Power Company and Liaoning Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Company (LHNPC) on 9 March signed a cooperation agreement on the construction, operation and maintenance of a key nuclear heating demonstration project based on the Hongyanhe NPP, Chinese media reported on 14 March.

Brazil’s INB and Eletronuclear sign a new contract for the supply of nuclear fuel
Indústrias Nucleares do Brasil (INB) said on 11 March that INB and nuclear utility Eletronuclear had signed a contract on 25 February for the supply of fuel elements for five recharges each at unit 1 of the Angra NPP (28th to 32nd) and at Angra 2 (19th to 23rd), making a total commitment for delivery of ten recharges.
