Alstom has received an order valued at approximately E20 million from the Ringhals plant in Sweden for new generator equipment for unit 2. The order comprises two stators and one rotor to replace the existing generator equipment. The rotor and the first stator will be installed during a maintenance outage planned for summer 2004, and the second stator will be replaced a year later.
The scope of supply covers disassembly of the old equipment, as well as the design, manufacture and installation of the new equipment, including service and maintenance.
