The Wackenhut Corporation has won its 19th contract to supply security services to nuclear power stations in the US. The latest is a three year deal with Ameren/UE in Fulton, Missouri, worth in the region of $15 million. The Ameren/UE Callaway NPP was built in 1979 and has been generating power since 1984. The contract involves training and staffing the plant’s security force.
