Texas-based AZZ Inc, a provider electrical equipment and services, has been awarded a contract from China Nuclear Power Engineering Company (CNPEC) to provide two circuits of 550kV 2000A Gas Insulated Line (GIL) for the Hongyanhe NPP in Liaoning Province.
The total contract award is estimated at more than $9m and delivery of the GIL is scheduled for mid 2017.
CNPEC is a subsidiary of the China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group primarily focused on the construction of nuclear power projects with a total installed capacity of over 17.54GW.
