Germany-based industrial services provider Bilfinger has won a framework contract from Electricité de France (EDF) for the modernisation of 58 French reactor units.
The €40m ($43.5m) five-year contract was awarded to a consortium including three Bilfinger companies within its Engineering & Technologies segment. “We are combining our strengths to provide our customers with a superior value proposition and to support profitable growth. In this case we are combining engineering services with our piping competencies creating decisive added value for our customer', said Bilfinger CEO Tom Blades.
