The Shanghai First Machine Tool Works (SFMTW) has successfully manufactured reactor components for the second phase project at Qinshan. As nearly 90% of the components were domestically produced, it appears that China can now independently manufacture components for PWRs in the 300-1000MWe range. SFMTW is the only reactor component manufacturer in China.
