The European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) has joined the Generation IV International Forum (GIF) Framework Agreement after commissioner Janez Potocnik signed the letter of accession.
The forum members also include Argentina, Brazil, Canada, France, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.
