Framatome announced, on the sidelines of Euronaval 2024, the acquisition of French company Allentis, a specialist in IT security solutions. Allentis offers solutions for the monitoring of IT and industrial networks and the design of secure architectures. Its solutions are qualified by the French Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI – Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information).
Framatome says the integration of Allentis enhances its capacity “to offer proven threat anticipation and detection solutions, as well as secure communications for systems with high safety and security requirements”.
Bernard Fontana, CEO of Framatome, said the acquisition “is in line with our growth strategy, at a time when security, safety and digital sovereignty are of increasing importance” He added: “Allentis’s sovereign technological expertise in IT asset mapping and flow monitoring complement Framatome’s offer in industrial computing, particularly for critical industries, public institutions and the nuclear sector.”
Allentis , founded in 2011 has offices in Paris and Tours. Its customers include public institutions and government departments, as well as critical industries such as energy, defence, space and transport.
Framatome says its cybersecurity portfolio is based on “a unique expertise in industrial information systems and the management of sensitive environments, with a firm commitment to sustainability and sovereignty”. With the acquisition of Allentis, Framatome is expanding its portfolio of solutions for the nuclear sector, public institutions, and other critical industries.
