Framatome ANP has created a Canadian subsidiary, Framatome ANP Canada, to focus on the country’s service market.

The Ontario-based subsidiary will initially market products and services supplied by all regions of Framatome ANP, including the USA, France and Germany. Over the long term, it will transfer technology from the three regions to Canada and perform services with an all-Canadian workforce.

Dr Alexander Wolski has been named general manager of the new company. Graham MacDonald is manager of Chemistry Nuclear Services, and Veronica Stout is the office manager. Mike Street remains the Framatome ANP regional manager for Canada.

• Meanwhile, Framatome ANP has completed its purchase of Duke Engineering & Services (DE&S), following a three-month process of due diligence.
