Plans by Electricite de France (EdF) to build a 1650MW EPR have prompted a series of protests across five French cities.
The organisers, Stop-EPR, claim more than 60,000 people attended the rallies with the largest crowd in Rennes, near Flamanville in Normandy, where preliminary construction on the EPR is underway.
