Interstate Power and Light Company (FPL), a subsidiary of Alliant Energy Corp, has received approval from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to transfer the company’s Duane Arnold Energy Center’s nuclear operating license to FPL Energy upon closure of the sale transaction.
