Kurchatov Research Holdings (KRH) and Eurotech have agreed revised terms for the use of the EKOR silicon geopolymer. Developed at the Kurchatov Research Institute in Moscow EKOR is a radioactively resistant foam designed initially for work at Chernobyl. EKOR is water resistant and will remain effective as a seal for hundreds of year as it does not degrade in radioactive conditions.

KRH has agreed to transfer its 50% profit sharing interest in EKOR to Eurotech and in return Eurotech will return 6 850 000 shares it owns in KRH. KRH will also receive 2 000 000 shares in Eurotech. Additionally KRH will receive 2% of gross revenues on any contract involving EKOR. KRH plans to use the Eurotech shares to gain a listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange.
