British Nuclear Group Project Services subsidiary Deva Manufacturing Services has delivered the first six 500-litre stainless steel Intermediate Level Waste (ILW) drums to UKAEA Harwell site.
This is the first delivery of a contract worth approximately £500,000 ($860,000) for the production and supply of 48 drums, including tooling and capital expenditure. The remaining drums, which will be used to store miscellaneous dry ILW, will be supplied by May 2006.
