This contract concerns the design, assembly, supply, installation and the qualification of 4 to 7 switchboards installed in the units 1, 2 and 3 of Tihange nuclear power plant and unit 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Doel nuclear power plant. These switchboards are intended to perform a nuclear safety related function.

The basis scope of the project is the following:
The different switchboards will cover at least the standard features to interrupts the fed equipment.
Considering that the nuclear safety related function is assigned to these switchboards, they have to comply with relevant requirements, e.g. environmental conditions, ageing, seismic according to IEC and IEEE standards.
The supply includes the replacement of 4 switchboards distributed over 4 units. The delivery of the equipment has to be divided in batches corresponding to the refueling outage periods of the units.
The design, assembly, supply, installation and qualification of 3 other switchboards are an option as well for the NPP of Doel as for the NPP of Tihange.
