Canadian firm Marmen has received nuclear authorization and accreditation from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), expanding its offerings in the nuclear sector.

Marmen has received ASME NPT and NA certificates of authorization as well as the ASME NS certificate of accreditation.

The scope of the accreditation and authorization include the fabrication of all parts requiring the ASME certificates mentioned above without design responsibilities. Marmen says it is equipped to machine, fabricate and assemble nuclear safety and non-safety related components of any size.

“Our ASME recommendation demonstrates our continued commitment to excellence and our forward thinking vision as we prepare for the next evolution of nuclear power generation growth” said company CEO and president Patrick Pellerin.
