Following the acquisition by MGP Finance of 100% of the shares in Rados Technology, the group has been relaunched under the name of Synodys. The restructuring brings together: MGP Instruments, which specialises in radiation monitoring and operational dosimetry systems; Rados Technology – contamination monitoring and clearance systems, plus passive and operational dosimetry systems; and MGPI-HB – neutron flux measurement and radiation monitoring systems. Each company will continue to pursue its commercial activities and will gradually expand to offer the combined product range.
Synodys has an annual turnover of E61 million and employs 380 people in the USA (Atlanta, Georgia), Europe (Lamanon in France; Munich and Hamburg in Germany; Turku in Finland), and Dapeng in Guangdong province, China.
