The licences will now expire in August 2033 and July 2034. To date, 16 US units have had their licences renewed, with a further 14 applications under review.

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has renewed the operating licences of Exelon's Peach Bottom 2 and 3 for an additional 20 years.
