German authorities have authorised a new shipment of reprocessed waste to Gorleben later this year.
The shipment of six containers of waste from France should take place before the end of October, Germany’s Office for Radiation Protection said in announcing the decision. The last waste transport to Gorleben in March triggered massive protests.
