Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) has released its report for the past year with revenue from the commercial operations business growing 6% on the strength of reactor refurbishment contracts and the CANDU services business recording an 18% growth.
According to chief financial officer Michael Robins, AECL revenue increased by 14% to C$407 million ($366 million) in 2005-06 from C$356 million ($320 million) in the previous year on the back of refurbishment and retubing contracts with Bruce Power and New Brunswick Power.
