9 May 2006

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) is to replace two steam generators for the Electrabel-owned Doel-1 pressurized water reactor (PWR).

Doel-1, a 392.5 MWe unit, is located near Antwerp in Belgium.

The two replacement steam generators are to be manufactured at MHI's Kobe Shipyard and are scheduled for delivery in September 2009.
