Curtiss-Wright acquires Scientech

Commercial nuclear power instrumentation, electrical component, specialty hardware and process control system company Scientech has been acquired by Curtiss-Wright Corp.

Idaho-based Scientech fell for approximately $57.8 million and will become part of the Commercial Power & Services group within Curtiss-Wright's Flow Control segment.

Curtiss-Wright chairman and chief executive Martin R. Benante commented: “The company brings high value business lines, including critical hardware, plant process controls and proprietary database solutions.”
