15 September 2010

Dresser Masoneilan has secured an additional $10 million in control valve contracts from China Nuclear Power Engineering Company (CNPEC) for China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group’s Ningde, Yangjiang and Fangchenggang nuclear power plants. The contract covers supply, manufacturing and installation of the valves, together with support services.

The contracts follow $30 million in control valve orders for five CPR-1000 reactor plants (Hongyanghe, Ningde, Yanjiang, Fangjiashan and Fuqing), which were won in June 2010. Dresser Masoneilan was named control valve supplier for the Taishan EPR project in July 2010.

“Dresser Masoneilan has some of the most experienced project engineers and technicians in the industry, and customers have relied on us for not only our high-performance control valves, but also our extensive project knowledge,” said Eric Strecker, vice president of sales, Asia Pacific region for the Flow Technologies Segment of Dresser Inc.
