The Shaw Group Inc. has renewed a contract with Exelon Generation Company to provide maintenance, modifications and construction services to Exelon’s fleet of 17 nuclear reactors. The value of the long-term contract has not been disclosed.
Shaw began providing fleetwide nuclear maintenance service to Exelon in 2001. The company currently provides system-wide maintenance and modification services to 41 of the 104 of operating nuclear power reactors, according to a press statement.
