The prime ministers of Croatia and Slovenia have managed to reach an agreement over the ownership of Krsko in Slovenia. The leaders have agreed on an equal ownership of the nuclear power plant, joint responsibility of the waste and the compensation of mutual claims. Joint management of the plant begins on 1 January 2002, and the plant is expected to start supplying Croatia with electricity by July.
