Loviisa fuel from TVEL

Finland’s Fortum will buy all the nuclear fuel used in its Loviisa nuclear power plant from the Russian TVEL Corporation, the company has announced.

Starting in the beginning of 2008, the contract will cover nuclear fuel deliveries to the end of the lifetime of both units.

The contract was preceded by an international bidding process organised by Fortum.
