Millstone up for sale

Northeast Utilities (NU) plans to auction its stake in the Millstone 1, 2 and 3 nuclear plants in Connecticut.

The company wants to sell all three units to one buyer, which would assume responsibility for the decommissioning work at unit 1 already taking place. Both Entergy and AmerGen have expressed interest. NU hopes to find a buyer by next summer.
