Steam clean at Diablo Canyon

Westinghouse is to carry out chemical cleaning on the secondary sides of the eight steam generators at Pacific Gas & Electric's Diablo Canyon plant, under a contract worth $14 million. Separately, the companies have extended a longstanding tubesheet-cleaning contract for an additional $1 million.

The chemical cleaning process will be undertaken in 2004.
