The latest version of the Resolve Optics Model 214 non browning fixed focus lens for close-up nuclear applications. The Model 214 Non-Browning fixed focus lens from Resolve Optics is designed for close-up monitoring of radioactive processes in nuclear power, reprocessing and waste storage plants.

The durable lens has been specifically designed for 2/3-inch image format radiation resistant tube and CMOS cameras, Resolve Optics said. Key features of the Model 214 include its use of radiation resistant glass, 85-degree field-of-view and variable iris control.

Offering a focal length of just 6mm the Model 214 non browning lens delivers high quality images with minimal geometric distortion from 400-750nm. Manufactured to the highest standards, using cerium doped glass, the Model 214 is able to withstand radiation exposure of up to 100,000,000 rads and temperatures up to 55°C without discoloration.

Resolve Optics has built a strong reputation for specialist lens design and manufacture of smaller production quantities of radiation-resistant lenses and optical products. The company offers a range of non-browning zoom lenses for use in environments subject to radiation.
