Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom has published a large selection of tenders in a spreadsheet document on its website in an effort to improve transparency.

The document is an excerpt from the Annual Program Procurement (GPP) of structural units, subordinated enterprises and organizations of the nuclear industry in 2011. Rosatom said that the total amount of annual procurement is RUB 258 billion, or $8.78 billion.

The Russian-language spreadsheet, which appears to contain more than 16,000 individual tenders, is divided into six different sheets. Each sheet consists of 20 standard columns that describe the tender, value, key dates and customer details. A simple translation of the column headings is provided below.

The sheet seems to cover both large and small items. An example of the latter comes from row 18 of the last tabbed sheet. Item 10, a radiochemical fume cupboard with filter for FSUE UEMZ, worth RUB 651,000 ($22,000), is scheduled for announcement in March; a supplier will be chosen in July and would need to be supplied by December.
