The “Russian Gas Centrifuge” Engineering Center (part of Atomenergoprom) has supplied a third batch of gas centrifuges to China.

Under a contract signed in August 2008 by Techsnabexport and China Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation (CNEIC) Russia is proving technical assistance for the construction of the fourth gas centrifuge facility in China. The facility, already under construction, will be based on Russian technologies.

The deliveries of Russian gas centrifuges to China are carried out in compliance with Russian-Chinese inter-governmental agreement for cooperation in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy. RGC is already forming the next batches. The deliveries will be continued in 2010, Atomenergoprom says.
