The works comprise early engagement in the design process, design, procurement, manufacture, installation, construction and commissioning of the Silos Maintenance Facility (SMF).
On award of the contract the Contractor will be engaged to work in an integrated team with Sellafield Ltd to deliver the concept and preliminary design (Phase 1). This will be followed by Phase 2 during which the Contractor will be responsible for completing the detailed design and the procurement of any long lead items of Plant and Equipment. Follwing Phase 2, Phase 3 of the works will see the Contractor completing the procurement, manufacture, construction, installation and commissioning of the SMF.
Contract value ranges between GBP 125,000,000 and 250,000,000.
