Assessments of nuclear industry practice by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Regulatory Review Service have started, having a special focus on security.
The first such review was held in Spain: it advised that the Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear establishes formal links with customs teams for notifications that a radioactive source has entered or left the country.
