Russian state nuclear energy company Rosatom has published its 2010 annual report on the internet: www.ar2010eng.rosatom.ru.
Rosatom reported total sales in 2010 of RUB 498 billion ($15.9 billion), up 9% compared with 2009, and an earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of RUB 133.1 billion.
It said that the 9% growth was due to sales of electricity, and sales of supplies by Techsnabexport and fuel subsidiary TVEL, although Atomstroyexport posted a drop in sales compared with 2009 because construction projects entered commissioning.
It said that overall Russian nuclear power plant capacity factor rose to 81.3% in 2010, up by 1.4%, generating a total of 170.1 GWh.
In 2010, Rosatom subsidiaries produced 5200 tons of uranium, and 727,000 of feed base.
Rosatom employs 272,000 employees.
